From bartender to restaurant owner, tour & adventure guide, I have more than 30 years of experience working with people. This is my real adventure.
I have travelled to many parts of the world, in countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, UK, Japan, Paraguay, Chile and Brazil.
For me, the whole adventure began when I was a kid, with swimming and hiking. Then I started with rock climbing, rafting, paragliding and canoeing.
REturning to Romania I went fishing on a captain-driven boat. There I met my soul friend –a fox terrier which I adopted since she was a puppy. I named her “Dunăre” after the place where I found her. She was my partner in adventures. Together we did rock climbing, rafting, MTB, and surfing. We went skiing in Germany and Austria and she flew with me during my paragliding license test. Through all these sports she was safe and sound. Although time took her away, dunaRE will remain forever in my heart.
Eco Volaris was born out of my passion for paragliding. I chose Maramures for settling down, after many searches all over Romania. During my travel, I found a permaculture centre called Baza Ulmu. They recommended me to go to pREluca, where I decided to start my project, Eco Volaris. I intend to build here a hobbit-style earth integrated house and a few straw bale houses. Based on sport, cultural, volunteering and recreational activities, EcoVolaris shall organize various camps and workshops for everyone to enjoy.
